ബിജെപി ഗുജറാത്തിൽ ‘സ്ഥിരസമാധാനം’ സ്ഥാപിച്ചുവെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രി അമിത് ഷാ. നേരത്തേ ഗുജറാത്തിൽ അക്രമങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയിരുന്ന സാമൂഹികവിരുദ്ധരെ കോൺഗ്രസ് പിന്തുണച്ചിരുന്നു. 2002 ൽ അക്രമികളെ ‘ഒരു പാഠം പഠിപ്പിച്ചു’. അതോടെ അവർ അടങ്ങിയെന്നും ഖേഡ ജില്ലയിലെ മഹുധ പട്ടണത്തിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു റാലിയിൽ അമിത് ഷാ പറഞ്ഞു.
‘1995 നു മുൻപ് കോൺഗ്രസ് ഭരണകാലത്ത് ഗുജറാത്തിൽ വർഗീയ കലാപങ്ങൾ പതിവായിരുന്നു. സമുദായങ്ങളെ തമ്മിലടിപ്പിച്ച് കോൺഗ്രസ് സ്വന്തം വോട്ട് ബാങ്ക് ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും സമൂഹത്തിലെ വലിയൊരു വിഭാഗത്തോടു അനീതി കാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു’. അമിത് ഷാ പറഞ്ഞു.
